Finland is the World’s Happiest country: Top in the 2019 World Happiness report

Happiest country of the world is Finland according to the World Happiness report 2019

Finland ranked again as World’s Happiest county in 2019 by the latest report of the United Nations. Five other Nordic countries are also on the top of the list. The world happiness report published today and this is the 7th World Happiness Report. Finland was also the top country in 2018 report.

According to the report, this year the focus of the report was on the happiness and community: how happiness has been changing over the past dozen years, and how information technology, governance and social norms influence communities.

Denmark, Norway, Iceland followed as 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the list of 2019 World Happiness report.

The World Happiness Report 2019, which ranks 156 countries by how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be, according to their evaluations of their own lives, was launched today at the United Nations.

The ranking of happiness levels across 156 countries is measured by gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, social maintenance, average lifespan, freedom of people and corruption.
