Public Transportations Around Lapland

Lapland has many attractive destinations to visit, but traveling between fells can bring up a lot of questions, especially if you’re an unexperienced driver or don’t want to rent a car on your holiday. Lapland is a big region and distances from villages and fell destinations to others can get really long. Kemi, Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi and Kolari regions are accessible by train from southern parts of Finland as well, and taking a night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi is quite popular. You can find more info and tickets here – https://www.vr.fi/en. There will be more rail connections in Lapland between some of the fell destinations in the future, which you can read more about here.
